Chiropractic, Postural and Joint Adjustments
The word adjustment describes hundreds of ways of using carefully directed and controlled pressure to restore
joints to a more normal position and motion. Chiropractic Adjustments are not limited to the correction of spinal joints -- nearly all of the body’s joints can be mobilized using different techniques. It improves joint flexibility and restores strength to areas weakened by misalignment. It also alleviates the strain on surrounding muscles that are overworked by trying to pull
a stiff or misaligned joint back into its proper place.
Leba Chiropractic's Technique
Injuries resulting from over-used muscles often respond best to my Technique, a treatment method that offers immediate and dramatic results. Headaches, back pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, shin splints, shoulder pain, sciatica, plantar fascitis, knee problems, and tennis elbow are just a few of the many conditions that can be resolved quickly and permanently with this type of treatment. Dr. Leba diagnoses conditions by using Proper Neuromuscular and Orthopedic tests to evaluate the injury.Once the exam is completed a proper diagnosis a treatment plan is constructed.
At Leba Chiropractic Dr. Leba designs a personal training program that is right for you. We have a private personal training facility with Commercial Fitness equipment. Personal Training and excercise is incorporated into almost all rehabilitation programs offered at Leba Chiropractic.
We teach our patients special "blueprint" exercises designed just for them to help strengthen and correct their own unique problem. These exercises can be performed in the comfort of your own home and can improve the effectiveness of your spinal correction by as much as 30-40%. In addition to skeletal misalignment, muscles and connective tissues can be out of place or strained by improper alignment and use. Specific exercises and stretches can help your body stay in balance and in health.
Massage and Deep Tissue Therapy
Muscles play a vital role in both stabilizing and moving the joints of the body. This is why muscle problems are nearly always involved with joint dysfunction. The most common form of muscle dysfunction is a muscle spasm, which is the body’s response to protect an injured area from further harm. Many massage techniques have been developed over the centuries to combat this problem – several of which are used extensively by our staff of muscle therapists. . Some deep tissue treatment is an interactive process involving both therapist and patient, sessions are actually a unique combination of examination and treatment. Patients will often notice improvement in their levels of pain, flexibility and strength within seconds following the treatment.
We often find it helpful to "coach" our patients on certain activities they should avoid or do differently to avoid aggravating their particular health challenge. Our goal is to help every patient achieve a fulfilling and happy lifestyle full of the activities they enjoy most. We recognize that each our patient is a whole person, and help them reach true health and wellness is a collaborate effort between our professionals and our patients.
We provide specific recommendations on nutritional supplements and healthy food choices to enhance our patient´s return to optimal health. Do you know which supplements and vitamins are good for you? Dr. Leba can provide a structured nutritional program based on your individual needs.

Using Physiotherapy we improve the patients mobility and health and to reduce the risk of injuries. In many cases, an injury is caused by different factors working together. For example, persistent back pain may be triggered by a combination of poor posture, being overweight, repetitive work-related activities and incorrect technique when playing sport. The physiotherapy aims to treat the back pain, but also to address the factors which contribute to the cause. This approach aims to reduce the risk of the injury happening again. We provide the following physiological therapeutic procedures:
- Interferential electrical muscle stimulation
- Mechanical traction
- Moist heat therapy
- Work hardening rehabilitation program
Most all health providers are accepted.
Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation

- Student athletes
- Professional athletes
From the standard sports to the extreme sports our sports medicine physicians are here for you. With an accurate diagnosis, treatment plans are designed to return you to an active lifestyle. The hardest part of recovery is not over-exercising or returning to the active list to soon. Rehabilitation may start with simple steps or range of motion exercises, but building strength and increasing agility is part of the plan. Playing by the rules for recovery is a big part of recovery.
Back pain, leg pain, neck pain…it's all in your head? Is there a correct way to sit, stand and walk? How long do you put up with the discomfort? At what age can degeneration of back bone cause you pain and can it be "fixed"? Reviewing your history and symptoms with our spine specialist would make it possible for you to understand the mechanical changes that may cause pain and the options for treatment and the reason for corrective measures to alleviate the pain.
Foot and Ankle
Millions of visits are made to physicians' offices each year because of foot and ankle problems, with over one million visits a year for ankle sprains. No one is immune from these injuries, but you can help reduce your injury risk by wearing appropriate foot wear and paying attention to the signals your body gives you regarding work or play.
Common foot problems can be evaluated best by an orthpaedic surgeon, practicing conservative treatment when possible and having access to state of the art treatment when necessary.
Orthotripsy is for those who have had heel pain from plantar faciitis for at least six months and who have tried other methods for treating their heel pain. Using the same concept as lithotripsy for kidney stones, the "shockwaves" at a lower intensity, promote increased circulation and healing. Results of the procedure may be seen immediately, significant results within three months. For additional information about orthotripsy or participating in a foot or elbow study please visit www.orthotripsyok.com
